Hi all! This is what I think. And I will start of by putting it simply. If a man can not be turned on by a woman in her natural state, as nature intended her to look, then what in the world is wrong with them?! I mean seriously. I do not neccessarily have what you would call a "fetish" for hairy women, and I wouldn't want one as hairy as an ape, but I think hairy armpits add some kind of asthetic excitement, as if things are more real and natural, even animal (which is what we are in a lot of ways, something which people seem to not want to recognize.) Anyway, I know that I am getting sidetracked here, but as I said, if you can't appreciate the "natural" beauty of a woman, then what the HELL is wrong with you? It also makes me furious when I hear stories about arguments within relationships, because the guy wants the woman to shave! What a selfish arsehole! Yes, women with hairy legs are so sexy. I am beginning to think that the single greatest attribute a woman's hairy legs can have is "uniformity of coverage". I find that as long as the hair growth is consistent (i.e., no bald spots or areas of insufficient growth) I am turned on regardless of the length of the hair. A woman with two or three days of stubble turns me on if there is stubble everywhere as much as a woman with inch long hair up and down her legs. As a 32 y/o who stopped shaving 3 years ago, I feel more feminine, and more 'real.' However, there are times like when I wear a short skirt that I think hairy legs just look untidy. The solution - don't laugh!! - is electric clippers (Remington or similar!) A once-a-month buzz on the #2 (1/4 inch) setting reduces what I call my "gorilla look." (NEVER my pits, though!) It still looks natural, just tidier! I know this may outrage the more puritanical hair-lovers among you, but it is a compromise I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want the hassle of shaving.

I can't help thinking how crazy it is that our perception of what is attractive can come down to how much body-hair a woman has! Women (and men) should have the right to be who they are, and to be accepted, without pressure from a narrow- minded culture shaped by advertising and media. That, of course, includes the "fat" issue. Still, there is hope, even for the fashion industry: supermodel Sybil Buck has appeared in fashion spreads and on catwalks with hairy pits!
